..OVERVIEW..

Assistant Manager at Jujutsu Tech, Shigeo is a hardworking man with a passion to follow rules, strictly so. He doesn't have a single fighter bone in his body, and so instead he focuses all of his energy into being the best support he can by doing all of the work behind the scenes...BIOGRAPHY..

Shigeo is the oldest son of two, only a couple of days apart from his “twin” sister’s birthday. Their mothers, a lesbian couple, decided to undergo IVF at the same time. He is the only sorcerer in his family. He’s always been able to see curses, and simply assumed it was a supernatural ability to see ghosts.

Due to the passive nature of his technique, he didn’t know what his abilities were exactly until the age of 15, when a sorcerer from Jujutsu High was on a mission exorcising a curse. The sorcerer got distracted not only by the presence of the young boy in an area that was meant to be evacuated, but by the amount of Cursed Energy emanating from him. In that moment of hesitation, Shigeo called out for them to be careful, holding out a hand instinctively. This triggered his Distribution Technique for the first time, which boosted the sorcerer's techniques, and he was able to complete the mission within a few minutes.

Shigeo got recruited after a short interview where he admitted to not knowing anything about his powers or Jujutsu Society.

He went to Tokyo Jujutsu High, and after graduating was proposed by Yaga Masamichi to become his assistant.

He was recommended to Second Grade during his time as a student, promotion which he refused given the nature of his abilities not being ideal for front lining. As an Assistant Manager, he’s been recommended again. Shigeo continues to refuse, especially having the job he has now.

..PERSONALITY..

Being the only sorcerer in his family, Shigeo developed a pretty reserved personality since a very young age, not wanting to scare his family by sharing anything he experienced. He is pretty stoic, stubborn and unafraid given all the morbid horrors he’s seen since being a little kid.

In present, he can come off as rather cold and aloof, has a generally deadpan expression (king of resting bitchface) and he himself is quite blunt, but in truth he’s very caring and simply struggles to vocalise his emotions. After all, he became a sorcerer upon learning he could develop his abilities to help others. Instead, he shows his care through small acts and details, and mainly so through his work.

He is very intelligent, pragmatic, analytical, loyal, hard-working and organised, qualities which granted him the position of assistant manager after graduating. It is also important to note that, given his affinity to follow rules and having a stick up his ass, the Higher Ups regard him highly.

..ABILITIES..

Shigeo possesses an extensive amount of rather malleable Cursed Energy, which he can pass on to others to increase their own. His Cursed Technique, Distribution, is of a supporting nature.

CE Distribution - Shigeo can transfer his CE to other users in order to increase/replenish theirs. The more he shares, the weaker and more vulnerable he becomes. This 'transfusion' is much like a stream, meaning that whenever he opens this connection, the other's CE becomes available for him for the taking as well. In other words, as much as he can share his own, he can take.This link also allows him to access the other's CT and use it, however, it's not an instant copying technique. Shigeo would have to understand the CT to be able to use it, as well as have the physical capabilities needed for it.Despite his high amount of CE, his body is not a bottomless container and he will reach a limit on how much energy he can absorb from others.

..JUJUTSU TECH..

2007 - He starts his first year at Tokyo Jujutsu High at age 15. Here he meets fellow classmate Yannick Quiguer, a foreign student who later becomes his best friend. ( For reference, Satoru, Suguru and Shoko are in third year ).
